Driving/Riding in KL and beyond
Hi people,
Just like to canvas opinion on the merits/hazards of driving in and around Kuala Lumpur and, as a keen motorcyclist, whether it's worth the risk to take to two wheels........especially as most bikes available seem to be 125cc and that is just nowhere near powerful enough to get out of trouble!

Of course, but you can't legislate for all the idiots on the road even if the rule is always to expect the unexpected :-) Do you ride a bike RedDragon?

I'm not in KL. I'm in Penang. I live 20+ floors above a busy road junction and see too many accidents and ALWAYS a motorbike involved... and usually the guy is flat out on the road. Nuff said?
Having said that, have friends who use bikes here and perfectly happy so dunno
