ASEAN Driving Licence
Is a Malaysian driving license valid to use in Thailand or do I need an IDP? I've read various conflicting articles on the internet but most say the new license with an ASEAN symbol can. Maybe any forum members who have driven into Thailand can comment please.

Malaysia driving license is valid to drive temporarily (tourists) in Thailand and vice versa.

Thanks skates81, that's what I understood, and that's all I need it for at the moment (tourist visits) if that is indeed true.
Do you happen to know an official document or website where this is stated? I was hoping to print something off to keep in the glove box 'just in case'.
