I was late into BB…very late, but once I started watching it I couldn’t stop.

Living in NJ for almost 20 years I can relate to many of the places shown in the series. I love mob type films/show…after all my favourite films are Godfather I & II, followed by The Goodfellas.

What streaming service are you using to watch this or are you back in the UK? I have heard good things about the series but I don't think it is available in the US.

I recently rewatched the classic 'Chinatown' movie, with Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway. Excelent movie! I have a question, for anyone who's seen it and fully understands it.
Spoiler:

Early in the movie we see Mr Mulwray and the young girl (who turns out to be the daughter of Mrs Mulwray) at a downtown apartment building (El Macondo) (Jake Gittes is on the roof taking pictures of them together). Later, we see the daughter seemingly in hiding at the modest home on Canyon Drive - the house where Mrs Mulwray drives to after receiving a phone call. My 'working theory' is that the El Macondo apartment is the downtown pad of the Mulwrays, or perhaps where the daughter lives, while the Canyon Drive home is a 'secret' home they own that is not known to Noah Cross, who wants to get access to the girl (who is his daughter by rape). Or is Canyon drive the private home of the Mulwray's butler? And what was the specific reason for Mrs Mulwray suddenly having to drop everything and rush over to the Canyon Drive home?

Watching 'Anatomy of a scandal' at the moment. quite good.
Downloaded from Kodi using Proton VPN (free version) so no ads etc, load onto flash drive, stick it in TV and away you go.
Did try Chromecasting from PC but not very satisfactory, for some reason sound and vision out of sync.
Also tried HDMI connection to TV but inconvenient and the old pc I had connected wasn't really up to it and I was too tight fisted to get anything better.

How are you watching it? The IMDB link suggests only Showtime is carrying it in the US, is that true? I see no separate info for Canada.

I bought a refurbished desktop (not quite mini but not full size) for about $90 for that very purpose and it's attached to the spare TV. It comes in very handy for watching football and rugby knowing I can shout and grumble without bothering anyone nearby.

you are correct. There are various nefarious ways to watch stuff. I prefer to see good stuff via regular paid subs.
my question was about what is good and how to see it legally.

No Man's Land
French guy thinks he sees his dead sister in the background of a news report from Syria and now believing her to be alive tries to find her.
First episode done. Good so far.

ITV's The Undeclared War looks interesting. I might have to give that some priority. After the final two parts of No Man's Land maybe.

And I just saw the writer/director directed the brilliant series Warriors as well as other stuff I've enjoyed.

Just started Trom which, as an investigative journalism thriller, is right up my street.
It's Danish, takes place on the Faeroe Islands and the scenery is utterly fantastic.

It looks like it begins on BBC this weekend.
