BBC world service early hours this morning a documentary about Joan of arc died 1431. but She still lives on today, isn't history great i learn't a lot listening to this lots of facts i did not know.

I recall being in Paris with my cousin about 42 years ago, we went to the Place Du tertre and heard someone playing jazz guitar in a bar. The prices were eyewatering (all Paris prices seemed to be) but we made 2 Ricards last for as long as we could. The guy had supposedly played with the Hot Club and had a string with pegs across in front of him so people could attach notes as he played.... I'd never seen a 500 franc note until then!!
