Oooops - I should't have started this - I don't know as many of those titles as you do and I don't have my expert OH here to help me out! I just thought I was being clever - might have known you'd out-clever me in a trice!

Sorry. I am a British TV nerd, I'll admit. This is what happens when I don't distract my mind with work, or drinking, or something . . .

That's not true.

That statement implies you were in touch with reality at some point

The thought of 4 days of fishing and safari has kept me smiling whilst I skimmed and dredged the pool today...thank god the new pump arrives next week!

Sounds tough ... just having a pool to skim & dredge would make this working class lad smile & feel like a lord!

Someone very kindly bought me some invoice envelopes so I now no longer have to fart around folding my invoices in a weird way to line up the addresses with the windows in a cheque envelope.

I understand that not one single person other than I on this site will give the remotest shit about this, but when you have over 100 invoices to get out to the post office it makes life that much easier if you can just fold them in thirds and bung 'em in.

Plus there's bugger all else to make me smile these days so I take everything I can get
