OH was at Lowes (in his work van with ladder rack on top), a woman comes up to him and asks if he will go to her house because she needs some work done. He calls me to tell me and I suggest she might have some kind of handyman fantasy. All's well though she is a single mother and the city want her to have a section of the wood on her house scraped and painted, he gave her a good price and money is money afterall.
If I was a single mother I don't think I'd approach a random man at Lowes and take him home, OH must look "safe".

I've got another garage sale smile - on Friday I picked up an old portable Singer for SWMBO, 'cos she likes old sewing machines. Paid $5. Turns out it was made in early 1941*, has all the accessories and is worth $300 or more!

* Which generated another chuckle, cos I was calling it wartime production, SWMBO was calling it pre-war and we were both right - sort of.
