Aye but a salmon can't pull a cart so you might as well eat it as it is pretty much useless otherwise. The donkey is useful for pulling all sorts of things and you can ride them around. Provided he hasn't been cut up and eaten by a pikey first

I remember once, some ******' pikies descending on the common next to our school. When they left (forcibly ejected, as befits such scum), as well as the usual rubbish tip left behind, there was a mound of earth, in a clump of trees we used to "play" in. When the authorities investigated, they found the scumbags had thrown earth over a dead horse.

By putting play in inverted commas there, I suppose that meant the clump of trees was used to smoke and drink cider in? Or is that where you used to take a bird and some Trebor . . . ?
