I saw an article about the "Chum Charts" today
They were the hit parade charts that the Toronto radio station "Chum" issued every week from 1957 until 1985.
The article mentioned that these charts were collectors items.
Many years ago, I bought a paperback book with the details of every Chum chart listed.
I had a quick look on Amazon or somewhere and it turns out my book is listed for sale at $650.00.
We must have too much money if that book commands that kind of price.

I once knew a lady who made gorgeous mince pies and now every year around Christmas I get these dreams ...

It was yesterday but still worth sharing.

I booked flights back to Blighty for a nice 10 day trip in mid-December. Won't be staying for Xmas but I smiled for many reasons, the most important being the last one;
- I can't wait to fly again, it's been over a year and I'm looking forward to it.
- I am going to be getting out of Dubai, longest I've ever been here in one stretch, it's been great but christ I need a change of scenery.
- I screenshotted the flight booking, sent to Mummy and got a phone call with her just squealing with excitement and it nearly made me cry at work.

Having small feet has its advantages. Yesterday I bought a pair of children’s UGGS, exactly the same as the adult version but 1/2 the price.

I need a document from the Registry Office, so as I was passing nearby yesterday, I took a small detour to ascertain the lie of the land.

Notice outside the entrance to the building - as I thought, ALL dealings with this office are by prior appointment ONLY. For x, call 123 456789 ... etc

Phoned up this morning to make an appointment. Appointment? No, no, no, you don't need an appointment. Just pop by whenever and hang about in the corridor and someone will come out to attend to you.

I love it here.
