No, no, no. One to write the copy, and 1,500 recipients who have been made to want to change it themselves because they think it makes them look cool.

The product name goes back to the 1930's. Wasn't until the 1980's the name became an issue, before taking it off the market the company tried a last ditch effort in a name change to Diet Ayds.

According to the US Trademark office the name was first used in commerce on Sep. 03, 1937, and registered as a trademark on Sep. 17, 1946.

It's kicking off in Aus too, can't escape it Pen. It does mean cheap records on Friday though, which is always a good thing.

This Black Friday USA thing is growing here in New Zealand also.
I wish that it would go away. NZ is not the USA & really doesn't need a 'Black Friday'

I second that!
I was just complaining about it on FB this morning. I'm fed up of seeing the adverts for it on TV and getting loads of emails jamming up my Inbox

American friend has had to cancel her plans to come to NZ (via meet-up in Sydney) in March. Managed to cancel my hotel booking in Sydney with no hassle but I wasn't sure about cancelling my flights, and what costs I might have to pay. Thankfully my friend in Wollongong is happy for me to stay with her and her OH for four nights I'm so lucky to have such great friends.

Canadian retailers have done the same in the last few years, its stupid and the sales suck compared to the US sales.

Must be something that happens to us as we get older. Not a fan of country music but these days I do find I like a bit of Dolly.
