What made you smile today? Part III

Uranus is surrounded by rotten egg gas. That made me smile today, but only because I'm feeling particularly juvenile.

I've always thought there was something faintly odd about the place & its inhabitants....

I don't know which made me smile more: that FIFA has regulations regarding "influence", that it sought to reference them, or that The Orange Prick believes its ok to exert political influence in the USA's bid to host the World Cup.

BT customer services advised me a few weeks ago that if we cancelled our package with them when we move out of our house, cancellation fees would be over £800. I rang them again today and asked how much our cancellation fees would be - £412. I'll have that, even though it's sort of proof that they pull these figures out of their bums. And the nice folks at Wirral Council have advised they're refunding just over £1,000 of our Council tax.
I know that I'm still 'out' £412, but it feels like a win

What happens if somebody unfortunately passes away , do they in this case also insist on compensation ?

Not sure, Ingles. If we were moving into another permanent address straight away we could have just changed the package to our new address, they'll also suspend payment for up to 3 months, but that doesn't fit with our plans.
