Didn't he get banned for trolling or am I thinking of someone else?

I didn't know if anyone would know Uncle Gay..... a big part of my upbringing as host of the second-longest running chatshow in the world for some 37 years.
He creaked the state forward into the modern day, like a priest presiding at a cremation.....
Go rest, Gaybo.

I remember him very well. I grew up in Derry/Londonderry (whatever you want to call it) close to the border with Donegal. We used to get a few of the Irish television stations RTE and I remember watching him on "The Late Late Show." Enjoyed it.

I was only exposed to this writer last year, well worth discovering if you too managed to avoid being exposed to his work.

Jean Fergusson, played Marina in Last of the Summer Wine, died 14th November in London, don't know why we've missed this.

Have never seen Corrie but loved Last of the Summer Wine, she was great as Marina. Still looked fab at 74 too. Gone too soon.

Well, Pearl will have Howard all to herself for awhile now. I try not to miss the reruns when they come on, but listings for that channel often don't show it at the correct time. Imo the best episodes were before Compo died, same way I liked the old Heartbeat more than the later ones, but they're still all good.
