They're all lovely, but Sibley is my favorite. I've always liked a classic mackerel tabby, even though I've never actually owned one.

What did Little Shit do to deserve that name?

My godfather had two identical orange cats - they were both called Charlie, but their name came to be ****OffCharlie.

They were living in an apartment in Vancouver in about 1969 and her boyfriend was doing the dishes in the galley style kitchen without his shirt on. The little black kitten on the counter behind him gave his best jump and landed on the middle of Charlie's back, sunk his claws in and hung on. Charlie spun around and around screaming "Get this little shit off me!,"

I've frequently said to my wife that we're a stain on this planet. It would be much better off without us.

Without this person in particular.

He is about 12 1/2, we acquired him in May 2007 and the vet thought he was about 6 months old then. He was an indoor/outdoor cat in the UK and was too settled in that to make him purely indoor when we moved. No overnight stopping out except for very rare occasions.

Apropos scratching surfaces, he really likes our Hall carpet runner and also the back door mat, actually a cheap carpet tile. The furniture only rarely receives his attention if we have ignored his previous communications 😄

Sad news caretaker, sorry to hear that. There must be a story behind his name?

They already had Sid Vicious, and then this little, beat-up soaking wet shivering orange waif showed up on the step wailing. I told her it belonged to some poor kid and she should put an ad in the paper. She said she did but I don't believe it. I just remembered another one from the pack my sis had in the 70's - An'tsin.

Here's something completely different, a momma bobcat in the city moving her kittens.

That's fantastic.

So the husband isn't too happy but I've had to bring home five kittens for the night. I will move them tomorrow, honest guv.

A dozen (plus Indi) sounds a nice number, Moneypenny.
