Default It's nice here aint it.

I've just booked myself here for a holiday. Not sure for how long yet.

I didn't have to quarantine or anything like that I was just waived through. There are a lot of guest rooms, the lounge is cozy and the views are spectacular. Programmable too, sort of like the Holodeck in Star Trek TNG.

Time to put my feet up.

Sit back, read a good book, then pop by and tell us about it. The book thread appears to need a bit of a shake up.

I'll drop by with my knitting and a glass of something later on - I only managed to get one of steveq's socks finished in time for Christmas.

Yes, but only when you've finished all of your supper.

Apart from the annual Christmas edition of the Radio Times. It’s essential to sit and circle stuff in that whilst eating a mince pie and drinking port. Not quite sure why when nobody needs to watch live tv these days, but somehow it’s not Christmas without it.

That reminds me, I have a bottle that requires tending. Forwent the mince pies this year as had a large box of shortbread that needed demolishing.

Eh? You didn’t buy mince pies because you had shortbread? What kind of crazy talk is that? Honestly man, that’s not even trying.

Repeat after me…….always have both, always have both, always have both.

Stop that right now please?

I couldn't find either this year.

LOL. I've already put on half a stone, with the mince pies it would have been the full stone !

I have no mince pies or shortbread left but I do have Stilton and Quality Street, that’s all that remains of my festive feast. I could squish some in an envelope and send it over if you like. Not sure how good it would smell when you open it mind……..
