Default How much is this job paid?

With nothing better to do early on a Sunday morning where I am Im just scanning over the daily UK rags to pass some time.
Now the Sun which has less appeal now as there are no birds flashing their boobs on page 3 has an article on the Silliest Trip Advisor and other such sites reviews on complaints by Brits about their holiday.
I will post some examples later.
So is this a paid job I could get at the Sun? How much does it pay? I guess I could work from home as all I would need is a computer and internet and the ability to trawl through thousands of trip reviews posted by Brits. I could do this in my PJ's all day drinking tea and then just send updates via email to my boss.

NEW YORK’S NO ZOOTOPIA: “The animals at the zoo looked very sad and it made our children cry. Can’t they train them to smile?”

LOST IN SPAIN: “The street signs weren’t in English. I don’t understand how anyone can get around.”

NAAN TOO PLEASED IN INDIA: “I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry and I don’t like spicy food at all.”

SIGHT-SEETHING IN KENYA: “The elephants we saw on our honeymoon were visibly aroused which made my wife upset and made me feel
inadequate.”

DOUBLE TROUBLE IN FRANCE: “My boyfriend and I asked for single beds in our room and you gave us a double. Now I am pregnant.”

FEELING SECOND BREAST IN SPAIN: “Women were sunbathing topless on the beach and my husband spent all day looking at them.”

IN DEEP WATER IN ITALY: “No one told us there would be fish in the sea – the children were surprised and upset.”

TAKEN FOR A RIDE IN TURKEY: “There was no sign telling you that you shouldn’t get on the hot air balloon ride if you’re afraid of heights.”

TIME MACHINE IN CARIBBEAN: “It took nine hours for our flight to get from the UK to Antigua but the Americans at our resort said it took them just three.”

OFF COLOUR IN MALDIVES: “The sand was much too white and not yellow like it is shown in your brochure.”

DOOM AND ROOM IN PORTUGAL: “Our one-bedroom apartment was much smaller than the two-bedroom one next door.”

TAKING THE BISCUIT IN BULGARIA: “The local store sold hardly any British food and did not stock my favourite brand of biscuits.”

Now when I travel Im definitely saying Im Canadian and hope someone doesn't notice my accent.

You would like to think that these were made up - but they're not!

I once worked in a firm where the manager called all non-Brits 'Bulgarian-Basket-Weavers' & Brits 'Idle-Grunts'.
He was 'stralian'.
We held a party when he left....

They'll probably assume that you're an American who is embarrassed by Donald Trump.

I'm sure some are real but a friend of mine won £10 or something like that many years ago for his submission of a similar experience in Spain to a weekly magazine. I came across it by accident and I knew he had never been.

He made it up for the prize money.

They may have been collected from legitimate sources but the originals may not be genuine.

I work for a Tour Operator, some of the comments and questions our Res agents get are unbelievable, plenty along the lines of the above.

I heard the following comment around 1992 or '93, with my own ears, as I left the plaza surrounding the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and a group of retired Americans entered the plaza and saw the Tower for the first time. A woman in the group turned to (presumably) her husband who was a few steps behind her and walking with a stick, and said "Gee Al! Look at that tower, it's tilted!"

I can well believe it. I came across a few similarly ridiculous things in my work too. I have allowed that some are genuine complaints. Or rather people seriously making stupid complaints.

The pregnant girlfriend one reminds me of one from work where a mother effectively blamed the Pope for her 14 year old daughter's pregnancy.

You also hear some great compliments. My favorite one (not through my work) is the American woman visiting Edinburgh who commented how convenient it was for them to have built the castle so close to the train station.

I don't know how people keep their patience answering the most stupid questions, or don't burst out laughing at the requests. I was surprised to learn how many people call up to arrange for 2 rooms in the same hotel, on opposite sides of the complex as one is for me and my wife, the other room is for my lover

Probably just a snorer and they'd rather the staff think they're having an affair than that they've been banished to another room.
