A series I enjoy is "Escape to the Chateau" and "Return to the Chateau."
British expats, Dick and Angel, a delightfully fun couple, buy a rundown Chateau in France.

As far as I am concerned, Better Call Saul is the best show currently on network/basic cable TV, and if I'm being honest I'd include the streaming services' original series in that as well. Vince Gilligan can do no wrong, IMO.

It wasn't that rundown by standards here, Dick was already a TV personality and it is so far from the reality of living in France......... Garbage imho

Of course it is. but it is entertainment. All reality shows have little to do with reality.
I just find it entertaining, and I Dick and Angel a very likeable couple.

Still totally absorbed by Geri / Haji... amazing TV ,love the insertion of cartoon drawings in the Japanese style

Now got a bit of easy to look at, 'fluffy' detective stuff in the shape of a series set in Mallorca... with a pretty blonde diminutive Welsh detective seconded to the Mallorcan police with.. a German detective also seconded to the Mallorcan police . They team up a la Cagney and Lacy... Its a bit naff ..but set on the beautiful island ..whats not to like called The Mallorcan Files

Yes it was. Loved it. Jack Carter was magic. My all time favourite though, and not police or violent, unless you count whacking your car with a tree branch, is Fawlty Towers. Totally un P.C and wouldn't be allowed on T.V. these days uncensored.

Nice to know there is some sanity in the world. I watch the whole series from time to time and start laughing before the punchlines!

Don't bother watching Gold Digger with Julia Ormond. Complete shite. I don't know what compelled me to watch the whole darned thing. 6 wasted hours of my life I will never get back.
