Ditto BEVS. Nearly half-way through autumn and we have a 36C maximum. Send 'er down Hughie!

Damp and miserable out, but it is at least in the high 50's, low 60s F.

In-laws got 8 inches of snow

It could well have been howling by me too but I was sat in the basement playing Championship Manager until 2 in the morning, and I wasn't paying attention to anything other than my screen.

Needless to say, I'm a bit tired today.

I was trying to right some wrongs (while playing a 17-odd-year-old game). Didn't work though, but I'm about to drop 30 million quid for one of the stars of the recently ended 2002 World Cup, so ya know ...

We have rain in the forecast, at this time of the year, more white stuff I think.

We have rain too, but given the predicted temps it will fall as liquid. That had better be the last snow we see this side of Thanksgiving (ideally this side of my death if I'm being honest) though.

Well hoping for some more melt in the next couple of days but melt equals mud but has to go at some point. IF we get enough melt then the ground can warm up and the next show will hopefully not stick. Would like some rain to wash the crud away.

Well here the forecast was for heavy rain all day, starting mid morning. I was outside from mid morning until late afternoon, then went for a drive, and only ever saw a few spots of rain, not enough for me to even to rush to cover my tool box and electric drill. Saturday had a similar forecast and similar amount of rain.

On Friday on the other hand we had torrential rain - one of the heaviest downpours in the last 16 years, leading to water flooding over the driveway next door for, AFAIK only the fourth time in those 16 years; three of those times have been in the last 10 months. It turned our back yard into a creek, well actually two creeks, with several tributaries.

We had a bunch of rain on Thursday with some impressive lightning, but nothing quite this bad.
