And can we take a second just to point out how ****ing red hot Giroud was today? He looked unplayable at times. Wenger should clearly take note that sticking him up front on his lonesome is a waste. Imagine if he bought Benzema.......!

Mexico are playing well too. I thought they were unlucky not to get a win against Brazil.

ITV down again, to be fair first time since the opener, but BBC has been good every game.

Good old Univision and Radio 5 should see me good

Next time pick a English team out of the championionship league, far more soul and guts than the Harlem Globetrotter like league.

So what's the betting that now the pressures off we play a blinder against Costa Rica tomorrow? Either that, or we lose but Costa Rica are disqualified anyway due to multiple drug offences

P.S I want some vanishing spray!!

I think Uruguay will have that one, but it won't be by much.

I'll still record the England game though, just to watch them one last time. Really the next game I'm properly looking forward to is the US-Germany match. If both teams play they way they did in their respective matches against Portugal, it should be a cracker

I'm thinking I'll watch the England game, even though I don't really see the point. Tryin to remember if I've ever watched an England match at a major comp where it's meaningless. I don't think I have.

If I remember right, the BBC swopped to showing the Ireland game in Euro 1988 after England lost their first two games.

Watching the England game.... glad Roy made 9 changes, but it's all pretty uninspiring stuff. United's new left back has looked ok. Gerrard has been awful since he came on. 1 point - from 3 games in a relatively tough group? That's about what we have deserved, so fair enough.

I hope Holland win it now - anyone but ****ing Uruguay.

I ended up with England (ITV) at one end of the room, and Uruguay(Univision) at the other end.

With two loses and a draw, I claim my place as a soccer expert.

I thought Suarez had grown up this season, looks like he has not.

I am guessing no Suarez for the start of the season again.

Didn't see it, but heard he bit someone? Seriously?

The cricket's on - 10 balls left and 9 wickets down. More exciting than the football.

Yes, unbelievable, he even pretended he had been hit in the head, well he did do a combined bite/headbutt by the look of it. Saving grace is that it is FIFA, a fiver and a bottle of whiskey should avoid any serious disciplinary results.
