A few years ago, Joe Jordan would have butted the twat back - properly. I must admit, I was willing him to flatten the little wop tosspot.

A great shame when you see a class player like him behave like that. He was all over the show for a lot of the second half and the ref should have shown him a red.

It amazes me that a player with such a poor rein on his temper, gets appointed as captain of a top class football team. The manager needs his bumps feeling.

T'is true his temper has always been an issue but I've never seen him blow up like yesterday, very silly as he's such an amazing talent.

Who knows what goes through managers' minds - I was a little shocked when Ferdinand was made England captain shortly after a 4 match ban for violence.

hate to be pedantic, it was a 3 match ban for violent conduct which is the norm.

the other 1 match ban was for a frivolous appeal.

Yes very true - but it only makes matters worse - not only violent but frivolous too, what a dick!
