If so, you're most 'welcome' to them....

The title? Between citeh & the chavs....anyone who finishes above them will have produced a miracle. Arse, the scouse, Everton, Spurs and (hopefully) United will battle it out for the 3rd & 4th places, and it will be extremely tight this year.

Surprise package? Hull City- Brucie is doing a great job there, and they will prove hard to beat. Sparky is also doing a fine job at Stoke City, who will also prove a handful, especially at the Britannia.

Celtic. Did you ever?

They're changing their name to Oscar Pistorius FC. They lost both legs, had 4 shots on target and got away with murder.

Shows the benefit of not fielding the wrong players.

True, but 6-1 up, 2 minutes to go and he hardly touched the ball. And, he has already missed 3 games but because Warsaw didn't put him on the team sheet because he was suspended, but therefore wasn't recognised as playing, so not technically serving his suspension. Well done UEFA, another PR disaster and a kick in the nuts for common sense and logical thinking.

Celtic are a horrible, disingenuous club with a large sector of nasty, moronic and religiously-intolorent support. They don't deserve to be in the draw, just as they didn't deserve to win the league after Rangers' punative footballing-based penalties for non-footballing related offences. Yet they still celebrated without a hint of shame or embarrassment. Wankers. Scottish football are welcome to them.

to be fair Travelling around the globe, Ive met, and in some cases worked with some great Celtic lads.Away from the ground, and their own enviroment, they seem civilised and approachable. Its just before a game the steam rises, their vocabulary becomes unapprehensive, braveheart takes over, the pubs become full of red tops in green a n d
white hoops, telling all and sundary, after whooping Inverness (again), they a r e world beaters, just bcos they boringly win (sorry gifted) their league time n time again.

Other than that, good lads really

Let it be said, that if anyone is worse than them, it's their cross town rivals. I say that as a person with absoutely no relgious affilation whatsoever. Just observation over the years.

Although to be fair, a fair few English clubs and indeed Welsh clubs have been almost as bad on the very odd occassion now and again.

They're stuck in the 80's, a well behaved crowd was the exception then. Even the so called friendly 'banter' is borderline abuse, angry bastards

I reckon the worst abuse and sickest fans in the whole of the UK goes to Bristol City fans and their "Aberfan" chants that they still use at Cardiff and Swansea.

Couldn't agree more. Throw in a fair few of Rangers' support into that 'grouping' as well. Having been to an Old Firm derby at Parkhead many years ago, it is without doubt the nosiest, most hostile environment I've ever been in, makes United v Liverpool look like a Sunday School outing by comparison.... On that occasion, the 'disturbance' was Celtic 'fans' hurling coins and missiles at their own board members, and another who decided he didn't like the way the match was going (Rangers won 4-2), ran onto the pitch to try and assault the Rangers goalkeeper mid-way through the 2nd half....absolute bedlam ensued.

Anyway, back to the football, and a resounding message from the Gooners that they will be a force this season...

and I seem to remember Arsenal were going to storm the league last year with a couple of months in.

As for United winning the Shield thingy, yes, that turned out to be the 'peak' of Moyes' United career.... what I was attempting to suggest was that the Gooners looked pretty good yesterday, and may be on the verge of becoming serious title contenders again....

Apparently Arsenal to win the quadruple has suddenly become a very popular bet.

Speaking of Liverpool, it seems they're still living in the past...

Maybe they're hoping Barca will loan the vampire back to them for a season...
