That has to be the ultimate insult in this thread.

I *think* he may claim to be a Gooner, but in reality appears little more than a rabid ABU who only appears in here after United have lost (which I guess means we have to endure him more often these days)....

Never any intelligent debate or banter, just insults and attitude. Best ignored, which is what I shall be doing henceforth.

And all this from an 'Irish' man... Droidling's stereotyping would combust with incandescent rage... (since we're all supposed to fit into his neat little 'thick Paddies' world-view... )

Sure we've spent money, and now we're spending absurd amounts. But when you're one of the most profitable football teams in the world and have just signed a new huge contract with a sponsor, there is going to be some cash.

The difference is that Chelsea, and City (especially) originally got a very rich owner who bankrolled pretty much the whole team.
But surely you know this.

Well due to being on my holibops, I have not seen a Spurs game this season (although I did see some of the MKDons/Man U game that was playing in a bar we were in....snigger), but by all accounts we have started well.

However due to Wet Spam and QPR being non-teams I think we can discount those games and our first real test will come Sunday.

How are Liverpool looking? Like us without Bale? Do you think Rodgers will play Balotelli? This new Dier chap sounds good but not sure he has the pace to keep up with Sturridge et al. I'd be happy with a draw but think we may nick this...just.

Liverpool were very fortunate to beat Saints and were outclassed by City albeit after holding their own for nearly 40 minutes. If Spurs play like they did in the first 2 games and Liverpool likewise - it will be a comfortable 3 points for you.

I suppose as good a draw as LPool could hope for. Could be tough for City, Champions League business as usual for them.

Group B: Real Madrid, Basel, Liverpool, Ludogorets Razgrad.
Group D: Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray, Anderlecht
Group E: Bayern Munich, Manchester City, CSKA Moscow, Roma.
Group G: Chelsea, Schalke, Sporting Lisbon, Maribor

Yep - City managed to get the group of death again. Got the best of the Pot 3 and 4 teams. Bayern and CSKA again! Oh well there is always next year.

Chelsea fans must be happy with their draw looks like the weakest ever CL group!

Time for Man city, to stand up and be counted. They breeze the PL, we con ourselves its the best league in the World, but besides Liverpool dont have any other who have been multi champions
league winners, not even different English clubs, on regular basis.
So MC should now be aiming for at least regular semi-final achievments.
Until they win the big one their PL dominance means nothing.

You'd have to say that looks like a decent draw for everyone except citeh, and TBH even they should look at that Group and think: hey, we should be well good enough to come out as runners-up if we can't get the better of Bayern; yes, a trip to Moscow is always tricky, but citeh should be capable to getting the points from everyone in Manchester (maybe even Bayern), and Roma are far from unbeatable (they've just sold their best defender to Bayern!).

Arsenal will be fine as long as they win their home games; Anderlecht are poor by EPL standards; Dortmund may not be the same without Lewandowski.

Our scouse chums have got it decent, aside from Real; Basel are no longer a 'surprise', and if you are prepared to go there and battle with them (which United never have been... , they are beatable.

The Chavs will destroy that Group...Jose must be laughing his butt off....
