Our club record signing, and who knows what difference he could’ve made last season when Silva took over.

Interesting timing in that we’re off to Stamford Bridge on Friday for the first time since that incident. If you look at our cup form and Chelsea’s recent run of results, you’d give us half a chance. But we literally have no defence. Three of our back four are Chelsea loans (thanks Slutsky) and ineligible - and our other two centre-halfs are injured. This could be a cricket score.

Yeah. He'd have made a difference for sure.

Stamford Bridge doesn't sound like it is going to be a pleasant visit for you. I pray the Football Deity in the sky serves up a miracle.

4 years! It took 4 years, but finally - Mike made a funny! Well done.

Rod...it was a joke. You’re slower than Mata sometimes.

I was reminded we signed a defender from Barnsley last month. Looks like a back three with him and either a couple of the youths and/or midfielders moving back. I'm sure they'll cope with Giroud and Hazard very well.

All the United wailing about your terrible squad - send us Smalling, Foul-o-matic and Blind for a few months and we'll show them what proper football is all about. It's only a short drive east on the M62. A few months of being kicked around the Championship will soon sort them out.

Please, please, please email Jose this request and I promise not to say bad things about Yorkshire for at least 10 seconds.

Daniel Levy must be shitting bricks. Spending lots of cash on a shiny new stadium only to have the star striker and star manager to be poached by Real Madrid. I remember when they had their special relationship that at least made the raping formal.

Join Saints and you might get to Liverpool. Meh, bit average.
Join Tottenham and you might get to Real Madrid. Holy smokes, smart move.

We'll win the Champions League this year.

Modric and Bale will come home.

We'll blow past City and win the Premier League next year.

Then Madrid will want Levy to be their president.

People in the UK will find it harder to stream Champions League matches.

Champions League live streams to become harder to access as UEFA obtains blocking order | The Independent

Quite right, they should either go to games or ****ing pay for it. People think streaming isn’t illegal - it’s the same as shoplifting.
