FYI, there are a few decent folk here (Cainess), a few who think they’re funny / relevant but are neither (Zargof, Scamp), a few who are fans of small clubs who think they’re going to win the league but everyone knows they won’t (James, Pommybird), another Arsenal fan who’s never been to a game (Dave), a City fan who started supporting them in 2008 (Mike) and an overlord who knows everything, is never wrong and people refer to as “the wise one”. That’s me. Plus people like FL, SD and a Hull fan who hangs around throwing stones and shouting obscenities. It’s like Christmas in an Everton fan’s house.

P.S if Arsenal win on Saturday there is an automatic life ban for anyone who mentions it.

I've been to games....

I think its in that song Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur they sometimes sing.
There again the song repertoire at the Library is nothing to crow about

Ben, just to confirm something on Ed's initial post to you... we do all call him the Wise one but that's only because we are confident that the concept of irony eludes him :sneaky:

I thought it was because he was about as clever and tactful as Dennis Wise.

If it wasn’t for me, this place would be like City’s home ground. Empty.

I’m certainly taller. He’s on some jungle “celebrity” shit that’s on the telly at the moment. He looks ill. I’m hoping it’s nothing trivial.

On the Premier League website they give you all the games with relevant channels so I stopped using that site 3 or 4 years ago.

I'd used this one in the Gruaniad comments a few times.

The response always the same. "Our average attendance is still higher than Spurs".

I tow the line at having to teach grownups fractions on a forum.

Er, I think you'll find saying, 'it's Spurs, it will all go tits up' and then it promptly does all go tits up, is not deluded.

That was a game of football, hats off to United, De Gea man of the match. Hate to lose but I enjoyed that.

Definitely game of the day.

Now for the red card decision
It looks bad, but what could Pogba have done to prevent the incident? His foot wasn't high, he didn't jump, if Bellerin doesn't stretch like he does there is no contact. I can see why it was given reckless with no intent.
Will it be appealed and Citeh must be confident now.

I think it is a red, no intent but a red all day, I think the pace of the game it was going to happen. An appeal maybe risky given that bans can be extended.
