Tory donor contracting 101..

There's a tender with 2 bids.
A Tory party donor says he can get it done for £200 billion.
The other guy says he can do it for £100 billion.
The person at the top of the tendering process asks why the first bid is double that of the second.
"That's easy," says the Tory, "you give me the contract, I hire the other guy to build it for his price, and we split the difference!"

Contract signed for £200 million.

I don't think it's just the Tory government who do this, but yes.....this is how stuff works.

Unless you're Saints. Then you just sell a chunk to the Chinese chap to launder money through, then he fails at that and you're stuck.

The new series of I'm A Celebrity includes David Ginola and Wayne Bridge's wife Frankie Sanford.

She's said she wants to beat hubby's 5th place finish in the 2016 series.

Expect a surprise guest appearance from John Terry.

I don't know how they get away with calling those people celebrities, they stick one or two in there then the rest you have to Google.

Liverpool FC's owners Fenway Sports Group is apparently in advanced talks to buy the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey franchise...

Report: Penguins “in talks to be sold” to Fenway Sports Group

The Fenway Sports Group, as the name suggests, is the parent company of the Boston Red Sox.

The Fenway Sports Group also controls the massive English soccer team Liverpool FC, as well as a 50% share in the Roush Fenway Keselowski NASCAR racing team and has real estate holdings including the group’s namesake of Fenway Park.

KdB is going to miss a couple of matches now due to covid. Yet another player who was fine goes away on international duty and comes back infected.

So how much credit in the bank do you think Ole has left?

You know when you have had enough when your sports day is looking forward to Fallon Sherrock playing Peter Wright at darts rather than watching Yernited.

He's won 4 of the last 21 points - seems fine to me.... Ole must stay

Just seen that Aguero is probably going to retire due to his heart issue. Hopefully he'll recover and live a long and normal life.

Still undecided for now....

What's the betting the players miraculously win games when he goes... I feel it's some of the players are causing this, but there'll be zero consequences for them

Well at least Sherrock gave Wright more of a game than Yernited did.

Yes, very likely. Assuming, of course, a replacement is someone who knows a bit about tactics, coaching, making best use of players, stuff like that.
