Re: The 2021/22 Football Thread
It looks like the groups aren't as predictable as I thought. I certainly didn't have Sheriff Tiraspol topping their group after 2 games nor Club Bruges second in theirs.

Ronaldo torpedo finally sinks the Yellow Submarine. Good job DeGea was on form tonight. Looks like Yernited were busy on the training ground as well.

The sooner they sack the substitute PE teacher, the sooner they'll get competitive. |

Re: The 2021/22 Football Thread
Well very entertaining first game of the day - I thought Yernited were going to run up a cricket score until the subs in the 57th minute which seemed to change the dynamic of the game and Everton came back in to it.... Everton a bit lucky to get a draw and very nearly burgled a win.....

Re: The 2021/22 Football Thread
A few more added to the Ole Out brigade. How come Fred gives away free kicks when no need to but when he needs to he tends not to? Football eh.

Re: The 2021/22 Football Thread
well tough week but 4 points from 2 away games to the best 2 teams in the league isn't a bad return
Anyone know how Milner didn't get sent off? |

That might be because the referee *bottled it and* didn't give a red card to him?

Nope. My post was a fact, your alteration of it was an opinion.

well you were indeed factually correct and I tend to think my opinion is widely shared - do you have a different opinion then?
