[QUOTE=BristolUK;12956467The FA Cup used to be exciting didn't it?[/QUOTE]

I snoozed or was distracted through all of them. Awful games.

Well that was your archetypal game of 2 halves....

Not a fan of 5 subs if that's what changing half the team does for fluency but suppose resting players quite important with all the games coming up...

After the dull FA Cup games yesterday I decided to watch Roma vs Inter.
Former Premier Leaguers Young, Darmian, Smalling, Lukaku, Dzeko plus Sanchez, Kolarov and Eriksen on the bench.

Very good match. Worth being up at 7.30am for.

Next up, QPR vs Fulham. Ditch water. Turned over, watched a bit of Stoke vs Leicester. Not much better.
Arsenal vs Newcastle started better but fell asleep again.
ManU vs Watford. Great start. Watford looking capable (or ManU falling away). Fell asleep.

The FA Cup used to be exciting didn't it?

Crawley were a bit good today though.

I never understood why Citeh let Dzecko go, he has been great for Roma

Marine vs Spurs - that's a bit more like it.

Virtual match tickets sold for a fiver, the prize being managing Marine for a pre-season match. Mourinho and staff buy one.
I particularly liked the row of houses alongside the pitch with numbers on the netting so they know which house to get the ball back from when it goes over and into their garden.

What the cup is all about.

Rearranged matches

Villa vs Spurs on Wednesday is now Fulham vs Spurs - or it might be Spurs vs Fulham . Villa played 'youth' in the cup but didn't want to in the league. Fulham have made the point that their team selection in the Cup was based on no midweek match this week, but they have agreed to play.

As a consequence, their 'weekend' game at home to Chelsea on Friday will now be on Saturday instead. Chelsea graciously agreed to that request, even though it gives them only 2 days, rather than 3, before they play Leicester.

Villa home to Everton on Saturday is now on Sunday.

So we've got Manchester United in the FA Cup a week after playing them in the league, it could be a very good or very bad week.

Scott Parker isn't happy about it though and rightly so. Luckily for him it's a match he was expected to lose anyways but I'd be absolutely furious in the same situation. I'm surprised Jose is fine with it, I'm guessing they were planning on using the same tactics against Villa as they are Fulham.

It'll be the same bus....
