Nicked from the THFC Banter FB page

The Polish fans are now on the rampage in Nice.

Following the English / Russian skirmishes in Marseille, 100 cars have been valeted and waxed, 50 boilers repaired and 5 walls built with awful pointing...

Never mind the Euro's, I'm going to a Copa America Quarter Final on Thursday! USA vs Ecuador.

Should be a good one. I was completely oblivious to the competition this year because I was so focused on the Euros that I didn't look into getting tickets for any of the matches in Chicago.

How about that from Iceland, then? Looks like I wasn't too far off when I said they might progress

and Ronaldo's lack of magnanimity is to his shame. Its ridiculous for him to complain about a country of 330,000 people, having no ambition and predicting they "will do nothing in the tournament". In fact I think Iceland achieved their ambition by getting a point off Portugal.

Whilst it's great for Iceland, it's NOT great for Norn Iron. We need the other 'minnows' and 'lesser lights' to be getting gubbed 3 or 4, so that a win against Ukraine tomorrow might be enough to scrape us through with 3 points and a decent goal difference....

Ron acted like a prick, and he now owes the Portuguese fans a proper performance in the next game.

Coming from someone who plays for a country who have never won a major tournament themselves, yeah he really let himself down there.

Iceland deserved the point, it was a great goal as well.

If Iceland finish second in their group, that becomes a moot point, What would be funnier would be if Portugal draw all three games, but NI win against Ukraine and end up with a positive goal difference, and Ron went back to Madrid with his tail between his legs as a result

I can dream, right?

Any predictions for England vs. Bale?

With Roy in charge, who knows? He should play two up front (probably Kane & either Vardy or Sturridge) and take the game to Wales, but does he have the swingers to do so?

The Taffies know a draw would be fine for them, so they will probably sit in and look to hit on the counter using Bale's pace.

2-0 England, but I wouldn't put money on it.

Just like me , a sort of mixed bag of opinions that only offers
a paradox of contradictions.
An Englishman's lot is not an happy one.
At least I have got the thought of my foxes to keep me happy...
Roy will keep to his Spurs mates and bottlers, oh..erm and top
corner takers.

I'd personally drop Kane after his display in the last game. He looked jaded and off the pace. Whack the rat on and then bring Rashford on for the last 25-30 mins.

Fair play to Roy...in the end, he DID have the swingers to put both Vardy & Sturridge (& Rashford!!) on, even if Bale's goal forced his hand somewhat...

Looks like both teams should have a good chance of making it out of the Group.... hope our lot can get a win now against Ukraine and make it 3 out of 3 for the British nations at Euro 2016!! C'mon Norn Iron!!
