Telecom Aerial Technicians/Riggers in Canada
We have a vacancy for a Telecom Aerial Technicians/Riggers in Canada. You can find full job description below:
The Aerial Technicians/Riggers will work on a crew basis, performing installation of communications towers in Canada, including cellular communications towers. They will perform ground procedures for the installation and work with various antenna and transmission lines.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime
Salary: $25.15 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits, Pension Plan Benefits, Vision Care Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Various Canadian Provinces
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Relevant Experience: 5 years or more as Aerial Technician (do not apply if you are not an aerial tower technician)
Languages: Speak English, Write English
Major Work Area: Installation
Type of Establishment Experience: Telecommunications company
Specific Skills: Install and maintain telephone equipment; trunking systems, circuits and antenna equipment and cabling
Additional Skills: Read blueprints; work at heights and in confined spaces
Security and Safety: Driver's validity license check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; handling of heavy loads; physically demanding; manual dexterity; Attention to detail
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, at heights
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license
Work Location Information: Various locations
Essential Skills: Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Critical thinking
Other Requirements: If not a Canadian resident or passport holder, you must have a valid Passport, meet Canadian requirements for Temporary Foreign Workers or PNP programs (including medical, drug and alcohol checks; security/police check). Candidates must pass Environmental, Health & Safety Education Training provided by the client company.
