Moving to Okinawa in the summer
Hi Everyone,
I'm moving to Okinawa in the summer with my wife, so thought I'd say hello to this forum, although not sure if anyone is on here anymore!

Hello. I was stationed in Okinawa way back in 85-87. I loved the place. Learned Japanese and made some great local friends. What will you be doing there?

Enjoy it. Make sure you immerse yourself in the culture. Don't be afraid to try new things and make some local friends. One of the best times of my life. Enjoy!

I was in Okinawa last week. It is extremely hot and the humidity is something to be experienced. Be ready for that!
