Work freelance for UK company live in Italy 45% tax
Hello all,
I would be very grateful for some advice.
I am resident in Italy, but work freelance for companies in the UK as a proofreader/report writer.
I spoke to an accountant here in Italy who said I will have to pay 45% tax. I earned 12,000 euros this year.
Does this sound right to people?

We found our local union branch of CISL really good one of the things they help with is tax returns. We got help on something else but we didn't need to join the union or pay anything, must say they have been brilliant so far
