Winter tyres

I overheard my colleague booking an appointment to have her winter tyres fitted. For 25th NOVEMBER!!! I started panicking because that's my OH's birthday and I haven't even thought about a present or anything then I realised it's only the 21st of flipping OCTOBER today! I've got weeks before I need to think about it again. Anyway, turns out that she wasn't alone in making an appointment even though it's the 15th of NOVEMBER when you need to have the winter tyres or suitable snow chains for certain main roads and parts of the motorways BY LAW.

Re: Winter tyres

We've already got ours on !! That's only because one of our tyres sort of exploded the otherday and when OH took the car in to get a new one and show them the tatters of the damaged one the '' gommista '' told him they might as well put the winter ones on because its going to be a bad one ( oh good ) . He did however tell OH it wasn't my cr*p driving to blame for the tyre bursting ....

Hope you're not thinking of giving your wife winter tyres for her birthday!

Nah I can't get those because she got new ones last winter. Perhaps a vacuum cleaner or something useful like that?

Well I thought about having a party with a stripper but then I'd have to invite her as well. So maybe a steam iron then?

The only thing steamy in our house is the shower. Hence the need for a new iron me thinks :D

No diet since going home in August - too difficult and since coming back I have been indulging myself so much that I've put on 4kg. I was actually thinking about doing the diet again to get back to 80kg, the weight I was when I went to London, however I just don't think I have the will power. Last time I had a target and there was no choice but to lose weight. Besides, I'm too sexy as it, too sexy that it hurts.

Well maybe the OH's birthday could be your motivation , watch the film and then watch '' the full monty '' ask yourself which one you'd feel more at home in ..... this is from a physical point of view , in every other way TFM is way ahead of MM
