Visiting Italy from UAE - questions on Green Pass/PCR
#16

[QUOTE=csdf;13056853]Follow-up question: it looks like we could do lateral flow tests (tampone antigenico/rapido) in any farmacia to get a 48 hour pass. How does this work? You walk into a chemist, ask to do the test, then wait 15 minutes and they hand you a certificate that you can use as a Green Pass?[/QUOT
Most chemist's will give you an appointment so go before you actually need the test and take your passport. Tell them also if you need the certificate printing in both Italian and English.

Hi,
If this reply is not too late for your visit to Italy.
We have had several friends arrive from UAE into Italy this past few months.
There is No issue with your vaccine certificate. Even though it is not accepted for the Green Pass.
You should be able to access most places with that and your UAE residency card as added confirmation if asked.
The information shared by other users is all up to date..
I also used to live in UAE, but have been here before the Covid issues so did not face these specific elements.
Come and enjoy, it seems most things however challenging are done with a smile and a good dose of helpful nature.
