Visit to Sicily
Hi guys n gals
Hope you don't mind me popping in from Spain
Am thinking of visiting Sicily for a week's holiday at the end of March/beginning of April. Could anyone advise of a good place to base myself?
Am thinking of renting an apt or something privately, will hire a car and will be wanting to visit places of interest, do the sights (architecture, galleries, churches, Mt Etna etc etc), do some walking plus enjoy some Italian food and culture in general! Will be solo and not bothered about beaches!
Any tips re must-sees, places/dates to avoid would be welcome too. Will be flying in to Palermo.
