Default venetoholics

Hi my name is Nick, and I am a venetoholic!!
I was wondering how many expat members(I'm new) live or like me, have a second home in Veneto. I get the impression that other regions are more popular with expats, but to me Veneto has it all.... I've been coming here for years and have travelled all over Italy, but Veneto to me is home from home, where are other expats in Veneto based? and why did they chose Veneto?

Ciao, I am new too, but being from veneto, I admit too to being a venetoholic, I have been living in the Uk since I was 5 years old, but have bought a small villa between Padova and Vicenza, my family are from Venice, but strange to many people, I prefer the mainland. From the high mountains to lakes, and the sea, and islands, Veneto has everything, not to mention the food....

Been here over 20 years at the bottom of the mountains 30 km from Vicenza.
Didn't choose this place over any others. Came here with a job for a year off studying before Uni. Didn't go back and didn't go to Uni - long story.
Where's your place then?

Family originate from Veneto, spent many years in Marche, and then moved home to Veneto, work reasons. Wouldn't want to move away.....

Married an Italian from piemonte. Stop of in Verona for his work. Moved on to Trieste. Then back to Verona when OH went to Trento, Bolzano and back to Verona. Stayed in Verona when he retired. Would have preferred to stay in Trieste. Had a ball there! One son in Turin (OH's mum), one in Verona hence us going back and forth.
