When I lived in Italy I was told by the Italian neighbours that Italy was a country for old men-this was when Berlusconi was at his peak (so to speak) So many young people were leaving the country to work elsewhere as has often been the case throughout history Perhaps the Italian government is realising that it needs youngsters and an attractive tax regime for workers to pay those old men's pensions
