We are about to arrive permanently at the beginning of April and start our first initial residency application at Pescia, Tuscany.
I am paid a government pension in my UK bank that covers both me and my wife.
Can anyone advise before we leave the UK what paperwork will be required to submit with our application or a link on the internet that can help.

You will need
Birth Certs & marriage cert translated and apostilled, this can be done through an Italian Consulate in UK.
Proof of Health insurance cover for the both of you
Codice Fiscale for the both of you
Proof of about £18,600 in the bank, this figure may have changed since we did it 5 years ago.
Your Italian address of course
Passport sized photographs
Have fun! Some comune's are easier than others!
They may try to hold onto your original certs (I had a hell of a tussle getting to keep mine), insist they just hold a copy of your original UK one

a) dichiarazione di possedere un reddito complessivo annuo di almeno euro 5.061,68 (solo il richiedente o il richiedente ed un familiare; di almeno euro 10.123,36 (richiedente e due o tre familiari); di almeno euro 15.185,04 (richiedente e quattro o più familiari);
