Hubby was born here and so we have all his family around(sometimes agood thing, sometimes not!).

Needed restoring and we are still finishing things off on it~labour of love ;)
It is so beautiful here and the one of the things I love most is going to sleep at night-no noise or traffic at all!
Well except for the village clock, but I don't really hear it anymore,if that makes sense.
We are about 20 minutes drive from the beach(San Leone) ,so untouristy, great beach bars to relax in and great seafood.
Now I am getting hungry lol

I spent the easter of 1980 in Agrigento. I would like to officially thank the people of Agrigento for having donated a certain number of coins to the fund that got me back to Bologna at the time. "Ce'ai cento lire" as I was taught to say by a young woman from Bologna with a mission.

Ciao Beany, you could get the boat from Rome to Palermo with the cat. We got the boat in Genova to Palermo and we really enjoyed it. A bit like a mini cruise. Are you in Cheshire? I am from Lancashire.
