At last our move to Venice is imminent - yippee!
Does anyone have a (good) experience of shipping/removals from UK to Venice?
We think we'll have about a dozen boxes to go.

Hi, New to this forum... just seen this post & have searched for superman 2, but does not seem to exist.
I will be wanting to move some things over to Italy (Umbria) in the next few months, could you please send me contact details for this guy please?

Hi savycat! Welcome to the forum.
Superman2 does indeed exist (or at least he did 3 months ago when we exchanged messages).
My move, from Sotland to canal side in Venice proved tricky for the 'man with a van' mover so we sent our boxes with UPS, through parcel2go.com who quoted a good rate. The whole thing went more monthly than ever we could have hoped.
Good luck with your move to Umbria.

Thanks Ruby2... I will search for him again with your spelling!
Mine won't be a large load, mainly boxes, but there will be a small settee and some plants in large pots, which I don't think UPS will accept! Worth considering for the boxes though.
