Default Scooter insurance

Does anyone know how much I should expect to pay for scooter insurance on a 125 yamaha 2004 model? I got a quote from the insurance the other day and was unpleasantly surprised........386 euros. Maybe they were having a go!!!!!

I've not tried to insure a scooter over here, but I would expect the premiums to be high based on the number of scooters that crash every day here

I paid EU624 to renew my insurance last year with 1 year NCB and full "Casco" cover. I have a 2004 Hornet 600. Try genertel for an on line quote at http://www.genertel.it/assicurazioni...gmentati.jhtml
Depends on age, number of riders, level of cover etc.

For future reference for anyone else......... Italsure does not insure scooters as they are just not competitive enough...
