Santa Marinella, Italy

Can anyone help me out with any info on the town of Santa Marinella, in Lazio, Italy, please? I've heard bad things about that part of the coastline, but I've found a villa to rent there that seems ridiculously cheap, so I'm not sure whether to go for it or not.
