Re: RISK CERTIFICATE
Basically the lower the class the cheaper. We did this 2016, but I'm guessing it won't have changed. The document we had give the following mapping:-
5 yrs NCB = class 9 4 yrs NCB = class 10.... .... and so on to 0 yrs NCB = class 14 I think from there you should reduce class if no claim year by year. |

Do you know what the 2nd question relates to: Bonus Malus Class (CU) of origin - so I select the number based on deducting my total NCB from 18 (with the Vertify website). Bonus Malus (CU) class of assignment - how do I complete this one? Smile Thanks to everyone's help I'm slowly but surely coming to terms with life here |
Re: RISK CERTIFICATE
I can't recall which way around it is, but the two are either your current class and future class OR your last year class and new class if that makes any sense (I think the former). So they are within one of each other eg. 9/8. If anything like the numerous systems I went on (Direct line IT being one) it will object if you don't have it right. So if you map to say 14 the other answer will be 13 or 15 i.e. either one greater or one less. I'm assuming from what you have put down there are 18 classes now!

Brilliant thanks so much Geordieborn. Often that bit more complicated than it needs to be....... Bit like everything, once one knows what to do, it's so much easier. That's great, I'm good to go. We spoke to ACI yesterday about re-registering the car. Under the new rules we need to go to the revenue office ourselves to pay the tax and then back to ACI. After that about 10 days for our new number plate. Getting there. |
