Any ideas for a Christmas present for a 4 year old? What are 4 year olds into these days? Prices range something like 20-30 euro.
Many thanks.

Winx!!!!! Antonia - 4 - and her little Italian friends are all mad on them! You can get one with flashing light wings from around €25. Bloom, Stella and Flora are the favourites. Antonia has two coming for Christmas. Also there is a special edition Winx on Ice that went with the tour that was going around Italy recently. If she isn't into Winx, (which makes her the only 4 year old girl in Italy that isn't!!) then Cuccioli di Amici - the little Animals that wear nappies - can be bought in reasonable size sets for €10 up to €30 or so. They are the other big, big craze for this age group. Hope this helps!!

No - thank Antonia! She is the one who keeps up with all the 4 year old trends!! Having got her all her Christmas presies she has asked Father Christmas (at a party on Saturday) for a slightly modified version of what she originally wanted, and has got, so that she can have the little animals in nappies too!!
Last time this happened was when my son was about the same age, but he left it until nearly Christmas Eve to ask for a play kitchen and emphasise that that was what he really, really wanted! Cue frantic trip to shops where only the most expensive shop in Manchester had what he wanted, of course, and a very tipsy, cross parent on Christmas Eve trying to put this bloody kitchen together!! It lasted though, took an Italian 4 year old here to wreck it after nearly 8 years of use, so a good present on the whole!

Alex asked for his very own Nintendo.
I told him Father Christmas does toys and not electronics.
Him and his sister can carry on sharing the Nintendo!

My goodness those Winx have really taken off.
Don't think I'm wrong but I read that the whole series was invented by an Italian and that last Christmas the Winx dolls were the first to topple Barbie from her throne.
Two years ago however, Chloe in Italy was already into Winx but they were not yet that popular or so big In England so my sister managed to get loads of Winx things for a very very good price.
Anybody looking for young boy stuff needs to go for Gormiti. This is maybe the biggest craze to take on here since Superman and Batman days.

I know an 8 year old who has asked for 50euro from Father Christmas this year. Kids today eh.
