Default Postal Pet Items

I dont suppose anybody knows of a web based pet accessory site for Italy?
We looked in a few pet shops here for things for our new puppy, but there's limited choice and high prices.Looking in particular for a bed and a kennel and toys.
The English sites charge too much extra to deliver to Italy.Any help greatly appreciated.
Come to think of it,how about 2nd hand sites? I looked on Italys ebay, but no luck there.

Durobird you could try looking at ads on viva street or there is another one called la bacheca degli annunci where you can find new and 2nd hand items

Yes, but they will have to pay IVA taxes at the 'dogana'( Italian border) and they are quite hefty. I had to pay 40 euros to receive a present from my parter who lives in the USA. Anything purchased outside of Italy is subject to taxes. I'm sure if you keep looking you will find a good petshop. In Milan there are quite a few!

That's true for things coming from the USA but not for Europe.
I've bought lots of things online and never had to pay dogana taxes or any other type.

Anyway, there is a Zooplus.it so anything can be ordered in Italy.

Durobird - In every region there is a newspaper for 2nd hand stuff - ours is called Secondamano. They have it broken down into sections and you can find everything. There are also 2nd hand shops - theres one franchising chain called Il Mercatino and they have allsorts. There are some other sites - Kiji is one - theres are hundreds of people advertising on these. I hope you can find something

oh forgot to add - theres usually a noticeboard at the vets with lots of offers too.
