P*rn - Is it illegal in Italy?
I hear that it's illegal to film porn in Italy yet my local videostore has a section bigger than the normal films catering for all sorts of fetishes.
So are my home videos illegal?

Re: Porn
It's an interesting question. Prostitution isn't illegal so paying for sex isn't illegal; thus I'd suggest that a film producer paying two (or more) people to have sex isn't illegal.
The pornographer Riccardo Schicchi was jailed for breaching Italian immigration and prostitution laws but I *think* this was because he brought over girls from Eastern Europe for his films and thus acted as a kind of pimp (which is illegal).

What's wrong with porn?! I'm surprised that prostitution is legal over here - considering it's the capital of the Catholic world, you wouldn't have thought they'd be too keen on legalising sex workers.
Nice to know there are alternative sources of income should the teaching not work out...

Prostitution is legal and regulated im only 8 european countries Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, Hungary and Latvia
But in Italy Prostitution (the exchange of sex for money) legal, but brothels are illegal, prostitution is not regulated
