Hi there everyone,
Soon to be going out to Sardinia for the second time in July and now the sun is out I am just wondering whether Pimms is available in Sardinia, not that it is a make or break thing, just that I really love a good long Pimms in the sun!!?

Get it from the airport airside in the UK. It's what my OH does. You MAY find it but it will almost certainly cost an arm and a leg! Also remember there isn't any lemonade as such here. I use Lemon Soda, there is also Gassosa (!) which I think may sometimes be lemony or like soda water - you can make spritzers and sangria with it. Had some last Saturday and it was very nice, I would use less Lemon Soda next time though, it is a bit too lemony for my taste! The Italian field cucumbers were good in it though!

I have never ever seen Pimms here and I've been here a long time.
The Gassosa I sometimes buy here for my kids is the crystal clear version - and that is just like lemonade. The yellowy stuff is more lemony.

Excellent info, thanks very much. I shall buy some on the way out and get some Gassosa as suggested. I will also look out for the cucumbers!!
Can't wait!

Om-Shanti - which airport will you be flying from? My son might be at school in Winchester come September and I wondered if there were alternatives to Gatwick? I know some flights go from Southhampton - Meridiana is our airline, which I think is Sardinia anyway? Just wondering.

Re: Pimms on Sardinia
We fly Ryanair from Stansteadbut they also fly from Liverpool, East Midlands & Dublin and from Birmingham to Olbia, I think they may have routes to Cagliari, but they are not direct.
I am sure they will have more info on their site....

Thank you! Stansted!!! Have a look at Meridiana. They fly out of Gatwick, are reasonably priced - the price never changes much at all and always includes taxes etc. and are Sardinian - Gatwick must be cheaper to get to than Stansted, but then I hate Ryanair -love the monorail at Stansted though!
