pap test
Today, the 21st I received in the post an invitation to go for a pap test. The letter was posted on the 11th & my opportunity was on the 10th !

Often happens. Ring them.í ½í¸€. Our ASL has given up sending out appointments. They now send a note asking you to ring for an appointment.

They do a better job than the NHS for screening. I've had two tests for bowel cancer since I've been here. Never had any in the UK.

Maybe but getting an appointment 11 days after you're supposed to go just doesn't work does it? I turned up 1 minute late for a breast screening once- 1 minute.

My husband was sent a bowel cancer test kit to our UK address 3 years after he had surgery here for bowel cancer! Doctors here said it must have been growing for years.
