Its like a foreign country over there in italy!!!! lol
addmission is half the price of u.k shows, the ladies on bikes get to go for free! you can even take your dog!
ive just registered for a reminder for next years.
looks miles better than the repetitive (and expensive) NEC,EXCEL and Ally Pally drivel
i wish i was kidding but i could use a 3 year old event map to find every stall at excel?

Re: Padova Bike Expo
Well I think I read somewhere that it's one of the biggest shows of its type so enjoy it when if and when you do get there. I hope all your bones are still on the road to recovery
We've been to the Homebuilding Show at Harrogate a couple of years running and that was similar - same presenters, format & stalls. Still interesting but you know what to expect when you go in.
(Of course you can take your dog - here it's really normal () to take your dog everywhere. But I'm still not used to having a meal in a restaurant and then all of a sudden hearing a dog barking from a nearby table!)

dogs get a good life over there then!
cant go anywhere here with a dog, its a pain in the neck having to tie the dog up outside a shop etc and hope that it is still there when you come out.
well actually i havent had this worry for couple of years since my gf's last dog died (old age!)
i read that all dogs at the padova expo must be muzzled (pretty fair really). is that law in all public places. i remember seeing several dogs in bologna, all with muzzles on.

Re: Padova Bike Expo
As usual, Italian politics can destroy events like this. Last year the Padova event was a big occassion. Then the organisers ended up arguing and split into two organisations. So this year we have two events on the same weekend, the Padova custom bike show and the Verona bike show. We just got back an hour ago after exhibiting at the Verona bike show. The event was good because they had some big guns attending which included custom bike legend Arlen Ness, Marcus Waltz and Russell Mitchell.
Lorenas brother was at the Padova show and said attendance was right down compared to last years event. Not that he was bothered because he won 'Best custom paint,' at the show. Anyway whatever the attendance, these shows are 10 times better than in the UK. A mediocre custom bike at an Italian show would probably be a show winner at a top UK event.
