It is obvious the climate is milder where you live Bricwood as our roses have a lot less leaves and my nasturtiums all froze, including all of the ivy geraniums which were covered by fleece.

Last weekend we went to a garden centre and we bought:

David Austin roses, /old perfumed English roses

Reine Des Violettes
Clare Austin
Charles Darwin

and two German ones from rosen-tantau.de
Erotika and Waltzertraum

I also got a Lonicera Fragrantissima as I live the perfume of the flowers.
