I'm looking for an Internet based IPTV service. Mainly so I can get UK and other international channels whilst in Italy. Can anyone reccommend a service ?

You could try a free trial of smartdnsproxy and see if the BBC iplayer works.

UK TV & Radio app - you can get all the UK TV and Radio channels, I used to use FilmOn at $17/month but UK TV & Radio is better, fewer button pushes, faster channel changes and free. If you link it to a fibre optic phone line and use a netgear power extender (which eliminates the wi-fi connection) its almost as good as being in the UK
