Hello. I am talking on the concerns of the passport process from the Italian conciliate.
Late 2018 I applied for new passport and for it to be delivered to my home address. But its over 6 months and it has not arrived. There is no way to check where my passport is in transit (if it is) and I fear It could be lost.
I also understand the possibility of it still not being even fully processed yet due an influx of other applications due to Brexit, So if this is the case I would like to know If anyone else is on the same boat or have found any solutions?
Until this is resolved I cannot leave the country and visit family..

Though there are a couple of people on here who have applied for a passport via the Italian consulate in London, you would probably be better off asking this question on one of the Italian in the UK groups.

If you are Italian, don't you have a Carta D'Identità that you can travel Europe with? You didn't give us a whole lot of details.

6 months ago I applied at the Italian consulate in London to renew my passport, and it was delivered after a couple of weeks.
It was mandatory to provide them with a prepaid special delivery envelope with my address on it, so I was able to track the delivery on the royal mail website.
If for some reason you didnt provide for a special delivery, I would say the most likely reason of the delay is that the royal mail has lost your passport, it happens all the time.
