Living in the woods
#1
A family living in the woods have had their children put into care by the authorities.
In such a bureaucratic country I dont know how it is possible to avoid contact with the authorities.
If they send the children to school they can get on with their lives without interference. The locals seem sympathetic to the family.

The children weren't removed because they were "living in the woods", they were removed because the home they were living in was “dilapidated, in terrible hygienic conditions and lacking the necessary utilitiesâ€, and specifically “has no toilet facilitiesâ€, among other things. It was also noted that the children do not attend school, but I am not sure what the status or arrangements are in Italy for parents to "home school" their children.
